Clayton began working with MCC Athletics in August of 2019. His responsibilities include attending all home athletic events such as games and practices.
Prior to coming to MCC, Clayton was a student at Illinois State University where he graduated with his bachelor’s degree in athletic training in 2018. As a student, he worked in various clinical settings. These included local high schools, NCAA Division I teams, and physical therapy clinics. After graduating from ISU, Clayton moved back to his home town of Moline, Illinois where he worked at both a physical therapy and chiropractic clinic providing patient care and athletic training coverage.
Since moving to McHenry County in June of 2019, Clayton began working at Northwestern Medicine from where he is contracted out. He is thrilled to be a part of MCC athletics and says that he “feels like part of one big family.”
Clayton’s philosophy is to provide individualized, proactive care to all in need. He hopes to foster a positive and welcoming environment in the athletic training room. Clayton believes that no athlete is the same and that every injury comes with different challenges. His main goal is to maintain the health and safety of our student-athletes here at MCC.
