Congratulations to Jaden Obaldo, MCC's January 2026 Student-Athlete of the Month. The Crystal Lake Central graduate competed on our Baseball team last year as an infielder for the Scots, helping the Scots win the Region 4 title and finish 39-20.  Jaden returns as a sophomore with much to look forward to.   

Head Coach Jared Wacker lauds, "Jaden has been a great role model for all of our younger players. He has been a vocal leader and supported our freshmen every day at practice. He has also spent time assisting local youth teams as well. He is a great example of what we want our program to represent." 

He earned ISCC All-Academic honors in 2024-25 and is on track to graduate as an NJCAA Academic All-American this spring. His plans include transferring to a 4-year institution to continue his Business studies and to play baseball.

"Jaden represents with maturity and commitment. We are proud to be a part of his bright future," added Director of Athletics Karen Wiley.
