Congratulations to Ella Jakowisch, MCC's February Student-Athlete of the Month. The Huntley High School graduate has played on our softball team for the past two years.

Head Coach Wally Warner states, "Ella is a great teammate, showing respect and kindness on and off the field. She carries herself with maturity and responsibility, and provides excellent leadership for our team."

Ella's future goals include transferring to Iowa or Missouri to study law. She is on track to receive the Illinois Skyway Collegiate Conference All-Academic honors again this year and to graduate as an NJCAA Academic All-American.

"We are always happy and proud to be the next step for our area student-athletes. There are no doubts Ella will continue to be successful in her future endeavors," adds Director of Athletics, Karen Wiley.
