Alissa Ricci named October 2025 Student-Athlete of the Month

Congratulations to Alissa Ricci, MCC's October 2025 Student-Athlete of the Month. The McHenry High School graduate has competed on our volleyball team the past two seasons as a middle blocker. Alissa has played in all 22 matches so far this season. She has earned 168 points this season, second-most on the team. Ricci is also part of the inaugural MCC Radiology program and plans to complete it after her volleyball career concludes. 

Coach Kyle McCall states, "Alissa demonstrates all of the values of MCC volleyball and holds herself to a diamond academic standard."  Alissa will graduate with an Associate in Science degree and is on the path to earning ISCC All-Academic honors and NJCAA Academic All-American honors.

"Alissa represents with a great deal of maturity and focus. We are so happy when area student-athletes see all MCC can offer both athletically and academically," adds Director of Athletics Karen Wiley.
